OECDの最新の教育統計によれば、イングランドの大学授業料が世界で最も高いそうです。日本円に換算して平均で約140万円/年でした。
学費が無料なことで有名なドイツでは、平均1万7千円/年でした。
日本の大学授業料は平均で約59万円/年。年々と値上がりが続いています。
未来ある子どもたちが、金銭的な理由で高等教育を受ける機会を断念するのは本当に勿体ないことだと思います。
思い返せば、今日の自分があるのは、国からの支援を受けることができたからでした。高専では経済的事由による授業料免除制度があります。
特にコロナ禍以降、経済的困難に陥っている子ども達の未来を明るくするためにも、低コストの教育システムの推進や振興をしていきたいと考えています。

The OECD's latest education statistics reported that England has the highest university tuition fees in the world. The average tuition fee in England is 1,400,000 yen yearly.
While Germany is famous for its free college tuition, just 17,000 yen per year, the average university tuition in Japan is unfortunately not so cheap, about 590,000 yen per year.
Financial reasons should not be a reason to hesitate to pursue education. Based on my experience, scholarships for KOSEN students from Japanese nation have made me what I am today despite of previous economic difficulties.
The lower cost education system will provide a better future for children who are suffering from economic hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be possible with power of the Internet.
